Malahide Castle is a modest size with a history that parallels Ireland's own story from 12th century Normans to 20th Century. The Castle has a unique story about the Talbot Family who owned the Castle for 700 years. Their beautiful old home is for you to view while a castle Tour Guide tells you their narration. When finished in the Castle, explore the gardens, fairy garden and the butterfly house and woodlands. There is a café, gift shop, clothes shop and children's playground too. Next up, we will journey from Malahide Castle to Howth via Malahide Village and a coastal drive to Howth and walk the Cliff Walk to the Village where your group can have lunch, attend the market, harbour walk and optionally take a boat trip in the Irish sea.
